The Gold Coast Indy
Held in October this is one of the biggest events in Queensland attracting a crowd of around 300,000 + fans. The Indy 300 is a Champ Car event, along with the ever popular V8 Supercars, that takes place each year on a street circuit at Surfers Paradise. It is fast becoming one of the most popular races on the Indy Car ciruit due to the atmosphere, off track day/night entertainment and action galore.

The Magic Millions Horse Racing Carnival
Taking place in January and attracting spectators, betters and buyers from around the globe to a week of horse sales, racing and events.

Gold Coast Airport Marathon
In July around 12,000 competitors hit the pavement each year.

ANZ Ladies Masters Golf
Held in Febuary at the Royal Pines Golf Corse.

Sanctuary Cove Boat Show
Growing every year and attracting visitors from all over the globe the Boat Show is held over four days in May.

Pan Pacific Masters Games
Held in November and attracting around 10,000 competitors the sports events include athletics, swimming, pistol shooting, fencing, motocross, touch football, futsal, softball, rugby league and netball.

Australian University Games
Held over five days in November

Warriors on Water Surf Carnival
Held over four days in Febuary

Mondial Australian Women's Hardcourts
Held over seven days in late December, early January it is one of the key tournaments in the Australian Summer Tennis Circuit and is held at Royal Pines.
