What is Magic Millions

Magic Millions Sales Pty Ltd is an Australian Thoroughbred racehorse auction house owned by Gerry Harvey and partner Katie Page.

Sales are held throughout the year across Australia along with the world-famous major sales during the Gold Coast event.

The Gold Coast Yearling Sale attracts buyers from across the globe and The National Sale is one of three world’s most important breeding stock sales. A famous sale is that of Winx – a $230,000 purchase from the 2013 Gold Coast Yearling Sale who has gone on to win 25 Group One races including 33 in succession, winning over $26 million in prize money.

In tandem with the Magic Millions Yearling Sale Series is the Magic Millions Race Series. There are 19 races across six states of Australia offering $11+ million in prizemoney culminating in the $10+ million race day on the Gold Coast which is in the top ten richest race meetings in the world.

The Magic Millions carnival centers on the main race day which is restricted to horses that have been sold or passed-in at one of the Magic Millions sales.
