Burleigh Head National Park

Burleigh Head National Park offers an easy to access nature escape where you can explore the rocky foreshore and ancient volcanic columns, rainforest, mangroves, wildlife, and ocean views.

 

 

Or, simply relax the time away with a picnic on the well-maintained foreshore.

 

There is a maintained walking track through the park with the two main tracks being the oceanview track and the rainforest circuit.

 

 

Getting to Burleigh Head National Park

Via Car: To reach the northern entrance of the park, turn off the Gold Coast Highway into Goodwin Terrace. The car park is at the end of Goodwin Terrace. To reach the southern entrance of the park, turn off the Gold Coast Highway at the traffic lights immediately north of Tallebudgera Creek.

Via Bus: Take bus 700, 753, 754, 757, 764, 765, 767 to Burleigh Heads stop and walk to the headland.
