The Gold Coast and Hinterland Historical Society Museum is located in Surfers Paradise and opens every Sunday from 10am-3pm and Entry is just $5 (children 10 and under are free).
The grounds include rare remnant coastal vegetation, Heritage listed trees, a reproduction early settlers cottage, pioneers’ graves and several buildings housing collections of great historical significance. There are aboriginal artifacts, equipment from the Southport cable station, farm equipment, and tools and an extensive photographic display.
